Teams, communities, and hands-on commitments that extend the work I care about.
In-School Clubs
Mu Alpha Theta, American Heritage chapter - 2024-current
□ Role: Vice President of Mu (Calculus)
□ What You Do: Oversee and enrich 20+ competition students aiming to compete in the Mu division regionally and statewide.
□ Impact/Achievement: Mentored members in my class and saw top 3 division results in the state and nation last year.
Pre-Engineering Society - 2024-current
□ Role: Vice President of Innovations, Inspirations, and Enrichment
□ What You Do: Provide workshops, guest speakers, and various engineering-related activities to keep members of the society engaged.
□ Impact/Achievement: Organized/Hosted 15+ meeting plans, events, and challenges for elementary and high school students, greatly boosting their interest in engineering.
Outside of School Clubs
Young Tinker Lab - 2025-present
• Position: Co-Head Instructor
• What You Do: Teach kids aged 6-12 about certain engineering concepts and host activities related to said concepts.
• Impact/Achievement: Consistent 15+ student turnout and at least a 50% student retainment across various events dates.
Indian Regional & Cultural Center (IRCC) Youth Board
• Position: Vice President
• Years Involved: 2024-present
•What You Do: Work with the adult board to organize the IRCC Youth Club and volunteering opportunities.
• Impact/Achievement: Assisted in coordinating several IRCC events with 800+ people; volunteered with setups, donations, and membership; contributed to an ~20% increase in Youth Club membership
Jain Center of South Florida (JCSF) Youth Board
• Position: Secretary
•Years Involved: 2025-present
•What You Do: Work (mainly) logistics behind organizing and serving my local temple and any fundraisers/drives.
•Impact: Served lunch to a total of 1000+ people across weekends and raised hundreds of dollars in drives to donate to local causes.
Make-A-With Youth Leadership Committee (YLC) [South Florida chapter] - 2024-2026
• Position: Member
• What You Do: Fundraise to raise money for the Make-A-Wish charity for wishes for less fortunate children.
• Impact: Raised over $700 for the Make-A-Wish cause through my community (30+ people).
Personal Pursuits and Balance
Tennis – Junior Varsity and Volunteering
□ Years Playing: 2016-present, joined Junior Varsity in 2025
□ Level: Advance / School: American Heritage Broward
• Progression: Started as another sport but quickly turned into one of my favorite pastimes for the change of pace it provides to my life. I wanted to try to represent the school’s team and made Junior Varsity.
Volunteering — Miami Open Ballperson Program - Years Involved: 2024-2026
• What I Do: Work with other ballpersons in a team to serve players at the official Miami Open Masters 1000
• Achievements: Successfully captained [maybe more than 2] teams of 8-9 ballpeople, contributing to a smoother international tournament schedule
• Progression: What began as a volunteering opportunity has turned into another community for 2 months in a year that have taught me useful real-life skills and responsibilities.
Music – Piano, Saxophone, and Volunteering
Instrument: Piano
□ Years Playing: 10+ years (started at 7 years old), Level: Intermediate/Advance
• Progression: Picked it up as my first instrument, quickly climbed up in interest and skill and even used it in various elementary school talent shows. Currently I am on and off with the piano, having switched to a different main instrument.
Instrument : Alto Saxophone
□ Years Playing: 6 years (started at 11 years old), Level: Intermediate
• Progression: Picked it up out of love for hearing the instrument, been steadily learning and taking classes. I actively practice it to this day and even play it at functions.
Volunteering — Symphonies for Seniors, Broward Chapter
• Years Involved: 2025-Present
• What I Do: Recite classical tunes in senior centers for their enjoyment.
• Impact: Played the saxophone for 200+ seniors across 8+ events.
WHY MUSIC MATTERS TO ME:
“Music has been with me as long as I can remember. It is my greatest way of expressing creativity and exploring the beauty of the arts, whether through my middle school’s jazz band or consistent performances for seniors. I hope to keep music in my life as long as I live.”
